Matthew Testa, BM, MT-BC
Matt Testa received his bachelor's degree in music therapy from Appalachian State University. He completed his clinical internship at Webb Street School in Gastonia, North Carolina working with students ages 5-22 with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Matt has clinical experience working with individuals of all ages and abilities in a variety of settings.
Matt has received extensive training on piano, as it is his primary instrument, and additional training on both guitar, saxophone, and voice. Matt uses a variety of instruments in his clinical work to achieve a variety of goals in his sessions.
Matt resonates with a person-centered approach in his clinical work. He believes that therapy is most meaningful when the client's utmost needs are served within the therapeutic space.
